Non-Discrimination Policy and Accessibility

Morgantown Dance, (formally the Northern West Virginia Dance Council), a non-profit organization committed to support dance, its non-profit studio, Morgantown Dance Studio, and its non-profit companies, the Morgantown Ballet Company and Morgantown Youth Ballet Company, do not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin. Morgantown Dance supports community dance productions for all area dancers and all audiences. Located within the ADA compliant Mountaineer Mall, Morgantown Dance Studio accommodates mobility disabilities in a wheelchair friendly studio environment, with easy access parking and access to ADA restrooms. Moreover, one of the studio restrooms can also accommodate a wheelchair. Dancers with speech, hearing, learning and developmental disabilities are welcome to attend our dance classes.

Along with Morgantown Dance community productions, Morgantown Ballet Company and Morgantown Youth Ballet Company perform at the ADA compliant Metropolitan Theatre which has 12 wheelchair spaces as well as wheelchair accessible restrooms. Morgantown Dance and the Metropolitan Theatre welcome patrons with disabilities. For patrons who are visually impaired, we provide large print programs to all for all our performances. One week advance notification for accommodation is requested.
