Classes Taught: Foundations Ballet

Courtney Kline began her journey at Morgantown Dance Studio in 2006. Since then, she has performed in many productions including Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, The Snow Queen, and many more. Additionally, she has been a part of the Foundations’ program since 2015 when becoming a student assistant. During this time, Courtney assisted with ballet, jazz, tap, and acro alongside several dance instructors including Lori Patton, Crystina Ferguson, Katie Tavolacci, Kathleen Sweat, and Zoë Williams. Courtney began instructing classes in 2021. Courtney is currently a sophomore at West Virginia University and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nutrition.

Courtney appreciates the great sense of community Morgantown Dance fosters, as well as the love for the art that the instructors bring to the studio.

I know how impactful dance can be on a young dancer,” she says. “I believe it is important that I am not only teaching my students about dance, but also teaching them life skills that will help them succeed outside of the studio . . . I love to see smiling dancers that are eager to dance and learn. Young dancers should enroll in my class to make new friends, gain new skills, and maybe even to fall in love with this art.”
