William Moore

Artistic Director of the Youth Ballet Company

William Moore was born in England and trained at The Royal Ballet School. After performing and touring with The Royal Ballet, William joined the Estonian National Ballet from 2009-2012. He then joined Pittsburgh Ballet theatre in 2013 and was promoted to soloist in 2018. In his time at Pittsburgh, he danced such roles as Seigfreid in Swan Lake, principal roles in George Balanchine’s Diamonds and Rubies and danced works by esteemed choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, Jiri Kyllian and William Forsythe. In 2024, William was also made Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s choreographer in residence.
